Your session will be between your 27-31 weeks so to ensure and secure a date, contact me as soon as you can and we can start planning,

For Newborn Sessions: Book as early as possible. We will then plan so that I can reserve availability for your newborn.
These sessions happen when baby is 5-14 days new for those lovely newborn poses.
Babies who are 14+ weeks may also book but poses are limited.

Again, last minute booking will most likely be denied due to availability

I can send recommendations to MUAs near Elizabeth, NJ.

For those who don't wear makeup, we suggest lipstick or mascara.

YES! I bring everything needed & starting fee of $550. It also depends on the area in your house available to this type of session. I bring along all the props necessary <3

I do not offer Cakesmash Sessions at the moment.
I can refer you to some AWESOME photographers who specialize in theme cakesmash sessions!

As the agreement indicates, it will take 3-4 weeks from the day that you have selected your favorite images.

SNEAK PEAKS: 1-2 images will be available upon request and must be selected before 72 hours from your session. They will be emailed to you in a day or two afterwards.

Yes, there is a travel fee in the agreement form but sometimes the best locations are those hidden gems

After your session, you will receive an email (sent to the one provided in the agreement form) no more than 72 hours from your session date. I suggest picking from a desktop/laptop computer rather than a mobile device.
The images will be from the photoshoot will not be edited thus, lighting and color may not be what you see in the final result. You will then select your favorites. All preview images have a watermark that cannot be removed. The amount of images you select are based on your session package. Extra images are available for an additional fee as stated in the agreement form.

You will then get an email in 3-4 weeks after you have chosen your favorites with your images ready for you to view and download. Instruction on how to download are provided on the website or you may reach out to the photographer.

Coordination is KEY!
Many clients I have worked with find their inspiration on Pinterest, Instagram and other images for reference. I also send out suggestions and references depending on your session.

Depending on your location and who is being photographed, everyone should match or follow a specific color palette. Thinking of the location, whether it's the beach, a park with a lot of green, a garden with a lot of color, the fall when everything is orange, winter when there is more brown and beige, a river (long/maxi dresses)..are all to be kept in consideration when picking out your outfits.

SUGGESTIONS: Sticking with solid colors and small prints.

Bold/neon colors, large patterns/prints, and stripes are NOT recommend.

After booking your session, you will get a prep guide for the day of your session. You will see instructions for what you will need to bring :)

If you are also adding parent and sibling photos, you will also receive information for that as well.

Each session has a print release as stated in the agreement form. This means you can print your own images.

Michelle Elizabeth Photography is planning on adding prints, canvases and albums to the sessions so that it is no longer just digital. These will be included as an add-on to each session.
These professional prints are HIGHLY recommended since quality and color vary from local prints and other online sites. So, we recommend ordering from our professional prints.

Retainers are a placeholder for your session date. Your deposit secures your spot. If you are unable to make your session, your retainer will be held and can be used by you in the future or transferred into a photo gift certificate for Michelle Elizabeth Photography.

Packages are curated based on what we offer. Throughout the years, experience and workshops have allowed me to develop a style and workflow in which guides me on providing these lovely images for my clients at an affordable price.
Thus, what we can do is work out a payment plan so that you can book your session and plan ahead for additional prints.

When you book a session with me, I reserve the following week from your date so that we have a "rain date." I will also ask you to put down your rain date on the agreement form.

If it happens to rain on the rain date, no worries! We will figure it out.
I personally do not mind a little rain or snow .. yes it will make the grass wet and muddy tho.

STORY TIME!
The summer of 2019, I scheduled a maternity session at a garden about 15 miles from Union, NJ and the entire drive there is poured! My client was messaging me about how it started to rain near her area too. The weather and the radar map did mention a percent chance of rain. But! the radar map also said that the rain would stop by the time we got there, and guess what!? As I pulled in the parking lot, the rain was a light drizzle that eventually stopped and we had an amazing session!

I have also photographed during the winter during a snowfall. It did not stop us!

Absolutely! I understand that you might be camera shy or not experienced being in front of the camera. It's my job to guide you starting with sending you inspiration photos before your session! Next, I do advise practicing in front of a mirror especially for solo portraits. In addition, coordinating your outfits and trying them on prior to your photoshoot is a must.
On the day of your session, we will do natural photographs until you're more relaxed and ready. I promise it will be fun!

If you have book a Deluxe package then yes, because we have time!
We also provide a pop up changing tent for your convenience/privacy.

All clients sign an agreement form which includes a model release form when they book a session.

If you would prefer to keep your images private, you would have to purchase the copyrights to the images for an additional fee, often double the amount of the session fee. This is also stated on the agreement form.

YES! I am totally open to doing outdoor small events and weddings :)

Indoors require more equipment and a second shooter hence why I do not offer that.
