1.Fill out the Contact Form
Sessions are best reserved in advance.
Locations: New London, CT & Union County, NJ
A collection is chosen based on the wardrobe and starting number of images selected for the final gallery. Choose your collection, then schedule your session between weeks 28–33 (weekends book fast, so reserve by week 26 if possible)
2.Consultation
A consultation helps plan your shoot and secure wardrobe options from the ➵Maternity Client Closet/Wardrobe
Building a collection of outfits that best fits the style of Michelle Elizabeth Photography has always been priority in our goal to provide a comfortable and unique experience.
A $250 non-refundable retainer secures your spot and goes toward your total, with the balance due on session day.
3.PHOTOSHOOT DAY
The goal is to ensure your photoshoot day runs as smoothly as possible, that’s why planning and consultation are key.
When you arrive, your wardrobe will be ready, and you’ll be guided throughout the session to create natural, yet beautifully composed poses. Let’s capture magical moments you’ll treasure for years to come!
4.SELECTING & DELIEVERY
A Zoom call is scheduled within a week of your session to select your favorite image togethers. Those are then professionally edited and retouched. Additional edited images can be added for $30 each.
Final images are delivered via a private, online gallery for easy downloading. Please note that unedited/RAW images are not available for purchase.

How do I book a photoshoot?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out to us through our website contact page or Instagram, and let us know the type of session you're interested in. We'll guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.
I don't photograph well and I'm super awkward, can you help me?
Absolutely! I understand that not everyone is experienced with being in front of the camera. It's my job to guide you starting with sending you inspiration photos before your session! Next, I do advise practicing in front of a mirror especially for solo portraits. In addition, coordinating your outfits and trying them on prior to your photoshoot is a must.
On the day of your session, the goal is to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. The editing process typically takes 3-4 weeks from the day your favorites are selected, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
Hair & Makeup
Arriving ready is essential!
Whether its DIY or booking a makeup artist, the photoshoot is YOUR closeup day. Enjoy it by starting off with pampering yourself.
*Everyday makeup or trying to do your makeup on that day is not advised for studio photoshoots. Soft glam is key.
Recommendations near you or close to the studio are also available.

Can I choose the location for the photoshoot?
Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs.
As a traveling photographer, I go to New London, Hartford, New Haven, Stamford studios in Connecticut along with one in Union County, New Jersey.
In-home Newborn Session
CT: YES! It is a studio lighting style newborn session. I provide this offer as a combo for moms who I have photographed their maternity session.
Props, lighting are brought along to the session according to what we plan in terms of colors and setup.
