Newborn Session are offered as in-home, a photoshoot in the convenience of your home.
I. Consultation
A collection is chosen based on the wardrobe and starting number of images selected for the final gallery.
Next is determining a date + time between weeks 28-33.
Weekends are also available but booked up quickly, that's why it is essential to reserve ahead of time, ideally before week 26.
Consultation to plan the photoshoot is key! It also ensures that any specific wardrobe is available in the Client Closet.
YES! Wardrobe/looks are included in each session for you!
Building a collection of outfits that best fits the style of Michelle Elizabeth Photography has always been priority in our goal to provide a brilliant experience.
A non-refundable retainer of $250 is required to book which covers what was mentioned and your spot. The retainer goes towards the total and your balance would be due the day of the session.
II. Photoshoot Day
The goal is to make sure that the say of the photoshoot goes as smooth as possible. That is why planning/consultation is so important.
Upon arrival, wardrobe will be ready and you'll be guided throughout the session in order to achieve natural yet poised poses. Let's capture magical moments that you'll cherish for years to come!
III. Selecting + Delivery
A zoom call is scheduled within a week of the photoshoot so you can select your favorite images. Those images are then edited and retouched to add the final touches.
Newborn Session-now is the time to reserve a session since they are booked before baby is born.
The final gallery is a private, online link where the delivered images can be downloaded.
Unedited/ RAW images are never for sale.
Additional final images are $40/each.
Clients typically invest a total of $680-1300.
Prints, canvases are a la carte purchases.

How do I book a photography session with you?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out to us through our website contact page or Instagram, and let us know the type of session you're interested in. We'll guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs.
As a traveling photographer, I go to New London, Hartford, New Haven, Stamford studios in Connecticut along with one in Union County, New Jersey.
I don't photograph well and I'm super awkward, can you help me?
Absolutely! I understand that not everyone is experienced with being in front of the camera. It's my job to guide you starting with sending you inspiration photos before your session! Next, I do advise practicing in front of a mirror especially for solo portraits. In addition, coordinating your outfits and trying them on prior to your photoshoot is a must.
On the day of your session, the goal is to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. The editing process typically takes 3-4 weeks from the day your favorites are selected, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
Hair & Makeup
Arriving ready is essential!
Whether its DIY or booking a makeup artist, the photoshoot is YOUR closeup day. Enjoy it by starting off with pampering yourself.
*Everyday makeup or trying to do your makeup on that day is not advised for studio photoshoots. Soft glam is key.
Recommendations near you or close to the studio are also available.

In-Home Newborn Session??
YES! It is a studio lighting style newborn session. I provide this offer as a combo for Connecticut mamas. When booked separately, the starting price is $700.
Props, lighting are brought along to the session according to what we plan in terms of colors and setup.
