Family Session
In today’s digital world, it’s easy to forget the importance of displaying cherished family photos at home. Children love seeing pictures of themselves and their family around the home.
Updating your family portraits not only captures these beautiful moments in time but also preserves them for you and your little ones to treasure forever. Let’s create memories you can proudly display and share, hold close to your heart.
This session would include immediate family or up to 5 people.
1st Birthday Session
This session features two beautifully minimalistic setups, with the option to incorporate a cake or donuts for a fun and playful touch. This milestone deserves to be captured in a way that’s both timeless and joyful.

Milestone/Sitter Session
Babies between 3-9 months are full of personality! This is the stage where they express emotions through smiles, frowns, and curious gazes—perfect for creating timeless images. We’ll capture not only their expressions but also the tiny details that make this phase so special. Lets capture the magic of your baby's growing personality.

II. Planning & Photoshoot Day
Consultation is Key for a Perfect Photoshoot!
A pre-shoot consultation ensures every detail is planned, including wardrobe selection from the Client Closet. YES! Yes! Outfits and styling are included in each session if needed. We’ve curated a collection of looks that align with the signature style of Michelle Elizabeth Photography, ensuring a seamless and stunning experience for every client.
A non-refundable retainer of 250 is required to book which covers what was mentioned and your spot. The retainer goes towards the total and your balance would be due the day of the session.
The goal is to ensure your photoshoot day is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. That’s why planning and consultation are key!

III. Selecting + Delivery
A Zoom call is scheduled within a week of your photoshoot, allowing you to choose your favorite images.
Selected images are carefully edited and retouched for the perfect final touch.
Your beautifully edited photos will be delivered via a private online gallery for easy downloading.
Notes:
- Unedited/RAW images are never for sale.
- Additional final images: $30 each.
- Clients typically invest between $550 - $1,400.
- Prints & canvases are available as à la carte purchases.

How do I book a photography session with you?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out to us through our website contact page or Instagram, and let us know the type of session you're interested in. We'll guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs.
As a traveling photographer, I go to New London, Hartford, New Haven, Stamford studios in Connecticut along with one in Union County, New Jersey.
I don't photograph well and I'm super awkward, can you help me?
Absolutely! I understand that not everyone is experienced with being in front of the camera. It's my job to guide you starting with sending you inspiration photos before your session! Next, I do advise practicing in front of a mirror especially for solo portraits. In addition, coordinating your outfits and trying them on prior to your photoshoot is a must.
On the day of your session, the goal is to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. The editing process typically takes 3-4 weeks from the day your favorites are selected, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
Hair & Makeup
Arriving ready is essential!
Whether its DIY or booking a makeup artist, the photoshoot is YOUR closeup day. Enjoy it by starting off with pampering yourself.
*Everyday makeup or trying to do your makeup on that day is not advised for studio photoshoots. Soft glam is key.
Recommendations near you or close to the studio are also available.

In-Home Newborn Session??
YES! It is a studio lighting style newborn session. I provide this offer as a combo for Connecticut mamas. When booked separately, the starting price is $700.
Props, lighting are brought along to the session according to what we plan in terms of colors and setup.

Maternity Sessions
Ready to capture the beginning of your journey with your newest little one? These sessions should be reserved/booked before your 24 week mark. The goal is to make every mama feel comfortable and beautiful during this stage of motherhood. Offering indoor studio sessions in CT & NJ and working closely together with each client to bring what they envision create timeless memories.
